This is a magical place of sheets of bluebells, ancient scrub oaks, mosses and lichens, now protected within a Nature Reserve. In the heart of the woods there are tors and other craggy outcrops of rock. Beneath one of these crags there is a tiny cave can be found, reputed to have been used by the Druids during the Iron Age and later on by Saint Brynach.
