During a journey across the length and breadth of Wales,intrepid folk-tale collector Brian John (one of our guides)visits the places that have given the country its reputation as an Enchanted Land. He hears stories of some of the great saints and heroes, and talks to people who know where the tales have come from and what they mean for the people of today's Wales. The 30-minute program contains an enthralling mix of stories old and new, commentary on the tales of heroes and saints, specially composed music, and interviews with folk-tale experts.
